Pulsing Poignancy

In great therapy moments,
my body becomes a hollow body guitar primed
to resonate harmoniously
with another person's guitar.

Each string a different layer of self:
thoughts, emotions, intentions, identity and purpose.
Presence only full
when strings are tuned
through my own work,
my own healing.

Then, my guitar can coax another
to tune,
to heal,
to sing
soaring sonorously.

..."While my guitar gently weeps" - The Beatles
